Services offered include daily or weekly walks for your dog, as well as in-home pet sitting, and daily or weekly visits that can include grooming, giving of medication, exercise, play, love and attention, and transportation to and from the vet. We'll be happy to water plants, bring in mail, and take out your trash cans and recycling as needed.

We specialize in daily dog walks. If you're concerned that your pooch isn't getting enough outdoor play and exercise, let me help!   We'll figure out a schedule which insures that your dog isn't languishing at home alone while you're working. The schedule and activities can be tailored to meet any special needs.
I give discounts for multiple dogs and frequent walkers. I'm offering a summer special - 3 nice long walks a week for $45, or 5 walks for $70, for 1 OR 2 dogs. Short mid-day "potty break" visits that last 10 -15 minutes start at $10. All other services, including pet taxi and normal length (30 minutes) individual pet sit visits are priced at $17 per half hour. Enquire about our competive rates for vacation pet services, which include 2 visits a day.

Initial meetup, during which time I'll meet you and your pet and learn their routine and needs, is free of charge.   We are insured, and local references are happily provided on request.

Harlequin Pet Services and Austin Dog Walk is owned by me, Content Love Knowles. I've been an Austin resident since 1992 and am a confirmed lifelong animal lover. I share my home with my lively young border collie mix Spaulding, and my cats Eris, Yukio, and Rory. Our gallery of photos of the whole family is coming soon.

In addition to walking dogs, I am an actor and musical designer active in the local theater community, and a long-time member of the VORTEX Repertory Company. Because I very much enjoy spending time with animals, I have for many years taken care of my friend's pets on an amateur basis, so it seemed like a natural fit to move to providing pet services professionally. By day, I can be found outside with my many animal friends, and by night, you can see me or my work on stage at various local theaters.
